Oliver Tuition Details

Dear Parents of JAKS Oliver Cast,

We sincerely apologize for keeping you in the dark regarding the tuition for Oliver.  We wanted to be able to keep the tuition a little lower for this show because we have a shorter rehearsal period.  We needed information we didn't have until this morning regarding the costs associated with doing this production.  We had an issue with a piece of equipment that was damaged during our run of Joseph and could not get our final figures for Joseph until it was handled, which involved our insurance company and a lot of waiting for the Rose Wagner to get the information they needed. 

Tuition

In the future all of JAKS productions, except the one-month summer program, will be $350.00 with $100.00 discount for siblings.

But for Oliver the fees are as follows:

 

Ensemble-Orphans and Fagin's boys without another speaking part:

$200.00

Coleman, Chase, Alana, Kyla, Elsha, Aidan MacKay, Carson, Anson, Rockwell, Nevaeh, Brinley, London, Enya, Landon, Kamryn, Devin and Scarlet.

 

Oliver cast members except for those listed above:

$300.00

 

Sibling discount-ensemble-$50.00

Sibling discount if both cast members are in the main cast-$100.00

 

Production package
You must choose one of the following two packages per individual:
1. Photo sitting and mounted photo-$25.00 each

2. T-shirt, DVD, Photo sitting and mounted photo, password to all of the photos for this production-&75.00

***t-shirts, DVD's, photo, and photo password may all be purchased separately in addition to one of the above packages.

 

Tuition pays for the licensing, storage, insurance, costumes, sets, props, music, printing, advertising, etc.  And, it makes it possible to do these productions.  But, it is also an investment in your child.  As many of you have seen, JAKS fosters talent, expects excellence, and boosts self confidence. 

 

 

Fees may be paid from now until June 15.  Please talk to Beth if you need to make any other arrangements.

We have 2 very large payments due now, so the sooner the better, but I know you need to work within your budgets.

 

Ticket Sales
Each family is required to be responsible for the sale of 25 tickets  This does not mean you need to purchase 25 tickets, just be sure you sell 25 tickets-either through JAKS or ArtTix.

 

The cost to do Oliver in the Jeanne Wagner theater is 10,200.00.  That means in order to break even we need to sell 1,020 tickets.  If each family sells 25 that's 775.  We will advertise and have a base of audience members who should make up the missing 245.
