**JAKS NEXT PRODUCTION**

To all JAKS families, past and present.

Because we have the Jeanne Wagner theater booked for mid June this year we need to start our next show next week.  We are going to do a show we did years ago and includes a lot of younger kids (girls and boys- but the girls need to be boys) Oliver.  It is the musical adaptation of Dickens' OLIVER, about a young boy in an orphanage in England, his escape, his acquaintance with Fagin and the Artful Dodger and their band of young thieves.  There are a lot of parts, a lot of really good music, some comedy and drama, dancing and singing for all.  We need to start next Tuesday 4-6:30 at the Castle of Chaos.  The orphans will rehearse on Tuesdays 4-6 and Saturday's 9-10:30.  Dance and harmony for the rest of the cast will be tues/wed. 7-9 and sat. 10:30-12.  Full cast rehearsals will sometimes include the orphans but not at the beginning and will be 1-4 on Saturdays.  Scene work rehearsals will follow the script and will be 4-6:30 on Fridays, but will not include the orphans but may include Oliver and Dodger.  I need to have scripts printed and will need to know if you are interested.  This is really a great show. Auditions will be on Friday March 6 and Saturday March 7.  I will cast the show on Sunday.

**Important Joseph Updates**

Hi all -

1) Next Tuesday and Wednesday evening will be mandatory costume fittings for wives, brothers, Joseph, narrator and Jacob.  All of you need to be there one of the two evenings.  Friday night we will run the show with costumes.

2) Any volunteers who are available we will be painting during rehearsal tomorrow starting at 1030.

3) Ticket sales are going great! I am sold out Friday 2/20, Saturday evening 2/21, Saturday matinee 2/28 and only have 3 seats left Saturday matinee 2/21.  I still have 20+ tickets for all other shows. ArtTix has plenty of seats for all shows so keep the sales going!

4) Let me know if you are interested in placing a program ad.

A few updates to the rehearsal schedule.  All are still at Castle of Chaos.

Friday, February 6th - No rehearsal

Saturday, February 7th - Youth Chorus 1030-1230, Remainder of the cast 1030-4
Friday, February 13th - WBNJ's 6-9PM

Saturday, February 14th - Youth Chorus 1-4, Remainder of the cast 1030-4

For tech week the youth chorus is not required 2/16.

All other schedules remain the same. Please let me know if you have any questions.
